So if you are a girl, I know you like to think about weddings. I don't mean marriage, I mean the wedding itself. Don't lie. You do it. Even if you have no desire to get married, you want that party. You want the dress. You want the gifts. You like to look up wedding dresses online. I know you do. Stop lying. You might even sit in wedding dresses on your couch and watch movies with your friends and eat popcorn. No big deal. We all do it.
So for this post I have found the best wedding websites, photos, themes, and so on for you to browse though and enjoy!
If you are a guy reading this and you aren't into weddings, here's a picture of a motorcycle. Those are manly, right?
Now onto the weddings...
Amy and Jesse had a carnival themed wedding. Normally I'd be like uhh...but it actually looked very tasteful and fun!
Most of the people there had tattoos, which made everything look so colorful and fun.
They had their wedding photos done by Red Heart Photography.
To see all of Amy and Jesse's pictures, you can go to Red Heart's website: redheartphoto.com.
Peacock. Feathers. Wedding. Excited yet? Because you should be. Kristi and Anthony's wedding incorporated feathers into everything. Not to mention her dress was beautiful. Her bridesmaids' dresses were pretty cool looking and went really well with the rest of her wedding.
The wedding photography was done by Christine Chang Photography and might I say, they are some of the most artsy, beautiful pictures ever.
You can see all of Kristi and Anthony's photos on this blog: ChristineChangPhoto.blogspot.
I have to say though, my favorite of all of the wedding photos I've seen aren't wedding photos at all. They are engagement pictures. Up themed engagement pictures. I know. The. Cutest. Thing. Ever.
If you go to weddingchicks.com you can see a whole page about the story and the pictures. Sooooo cute.
And if you want to look at more of Wildflowers Photography's (the photographer of the Up couple), you can go to their website at http://www.wildflowersphotos.com/.
The best dress award goes to Anneka. Both of the dresses in her pictures are amazing. Anneka and Patrick got married in Hollywood during the winter. But seriously, her dresses. Beautiful. Apparently she got her dresses online from a site called unique-vintage.com. Check it out.
You can see all of their pictures on the photographer's blog at jessicaclair.net.
The best vintage/ indie wedding goes to Hollin and Eric. They wore vintage clothes and got married in a forest. Unfortunately, the website didn't allow me to save one of the pictures, so you're just going to have to go to the photographer's site to check them out! Ben Blood, the photographer, took beautiful beautiful pictures of the wedding. You can check out his work and this wedding at benblood.com.
If you like to just look at wedding dresses online and day dream about trying them on, then you can look at this website: http://clairepettibone.com/bridal/
And finally, if you just want to look millions of different wedding pictures, ideas, themes, etc. check out inspiredbythis.com.
You can see the cutest, and longest, wedding invitation here.
Also, if you're tired of seeing good weddings, you can see the worst weddings at tackyweddings.com. Some of them are really, really bad.
Phobia of the Day: Gynophobia – fear of women
Fact of the Day: Koalas never drink in nature. They get all the moisture they need from the leaves they eat.
Take a somersault to the world of tangents. Anything and everything to distract you from your regular, boring life.
Hi There!
So you have probably typed a question into Google and clicked on some Yahoo Question's link and read about someone who is having the same problem as you. I know I have. Sometimes people can actually help you. Must most of the time they are just really, really stupid. And it's funny to laugh at stupid people. So I am naming today "Appreciate How Dumb People Are" Day. What a wonderful holiday. I'm sure if you took your time, looked out your window, and really paid attention, you could see someone doing something stupid. So to celebrate AHDPD Day,
here are a bunch of instances of people being idiots.
Viral Video: Crazy Neighbors
Phobia of the Day: Tokophobia – fear of childbirth
Fact of the Day: In the early days of fire fighting, the Dalmatian served an important purpose. They not only made good watchdogs, they also formed very close bonds with the station horses and kept them company.
- The Who-Are-You-And-Why-Are-You-So-Dramatic-And-Annoying Group: Consists of mainly people like Paris Hilton, the Kardashians, and all the reality TV people (like the people who have those dating shows on VH1--seriously, who are you?)
- The Once-Loved-Now-Crazy Group: You know who they are...Britney, Tom, Lindsey....
- The Forever-Loved Group: Those celebrities that will forever be loved no matter what they do, even after their death. Examples are Morgan Freeman, Marylin Monroe, Johnny Depp, and Heath Ledger.
- The Almost-Forgotten Group: These include all the celebrities that you forget about until they come out in a new movie. They are perfectly fine, and you like them, but they aren't as memorable as the Forever-Loved group. This includes a lot of the people in TV shows and people from old movies that you haven't watched in forever.
So here are some funny pictures of celebrities that everyone loves.
Bret and Jemaine
Carrie Fisher and Peter Mayhew
Zach Braff
Phobia of the Day: Heliophobia – fear of sunlight
Fact of the Day: The word “pie” can be traced to the 13th century, but in the old days, the dessert was more commonly known as a “coffin” or “coffyn.” In fact, “coffin” was used in this context for 300 years before it was applied to a burial casket.

Things Falling Asleep.
They are just so darn cute.
Do you need cheering up today? Watching little critters taking a nap will make you all tingly inside and want to take a little puppy home and cuddle with it.
There is a whole website dedicated to this cute little occurrence: cutethingsfallingasleep.org. This site will really make you get the warm and fuzzies.
Baby animals are cute, no matter what species, color, size, or what they are doing. If you like human babies, you can check out this website: http://www.keriannebrown.com/. Kerianne Brown specializes in baby pictures, many of which are falling sleep, the rest of which are just plain cute. Here's a preview of her work:
Now tell me those aren't the cutest, most beautiful sleeping things you've ever seen? If your answer was no, then here are some more pictures to try to melt your icy, cold heart.
Phobia of the Day: Gelotophobia - fear of being laughed at.
Fact of the Day: Platform shoes didn’t just look ridiculous in the 1970s; they looked equally silly in 15th-century Europe, when they were known as chopines. The fashionable footwear was so toweringly high (up to 30 inches!) that ladies couldn’t walk around in them for fear of falling.
Parodies are silly and entertaining. Everybody loves them. I don't know what else to write, because you can't really sum up all the awesomeness of parodies in writing. So here you go:
Midnight Beast (Tik Tok)
Midnight Beast (Down)
College Humor (I Gotta Feeling)
I'm on a Goat
Party in the Library
This last one's not quite a parody, but it's just plain cool (Lady Gaga Accapella)
Phobia of the Day: Somniphobia – fear of sleep
Fact of the Day: The song “Over The Rainbow” nearly didn’t make it into The Wizard Of Oz. Songwriter Harold Arlen had to beg for its inclusion in the film.
Today's Topic: Awesome Music Videos
Music videos started to become popular in the 80's when MTV came about. Now there are thousands and thousands of them on the Internet. Some are stupid. Some are okay. And some are just freaking awesome. Did you know:
--in China, music videos are simply known as MTV's
--precursors to the music video include "promotional clips," musical films, and illustrated songs
--The first MTV video to be banned was Queen's "Body Language"
London London, Cibelle feat. Devendra Banhart
Here It Goes Again, OK Go
Take on Me, Aha (Literal Version)
But It's Better If You Do, Panic! at the Disco
Fireflies, Owl City
First Day of My Life, Bright Eyes
1 2 3 4, Plain White T's
Phobia of the Day: Nomophobia – fear of being out of mobile phone contact
Fact of the Day: Chinese Checker is not Chinese. It was created in America to circumvent the patent for a popular board game called Halma, invented by a Boston surgeon named George Howard Monks.

Today's Topic: Cats
For some strange reason, cats have become an Internet craze. Everywhere you look some cat is wanting a cheese burger. People take funny pictures of cats and write captions. Where do these people find these funny cats? Ive never seen a cat be so weird. Maybe I'm just weird. I don't know.
But I do know that there are whole websites dedicated to these furry little creatures. But don't let that fool you- not every lolcat or cat video is quite as funny as you were hoping. Some are just dumb. Come on people. At least film your cat doing something weird, not something normal.
According to UrbanDictionary.com, lolcats are: pictures of cats that make people forget about committing suicide.
The pro lolcat makers at icanhasheezburger.com do just that. Their silly little cats bring joy into people's lives and bring peace into the world. Wikipedia even says that interactions with cats may even improve health and reduce responses to stress. They even provide emotional support and help people deal with depression and loneliness.
Cats may seem like they own your house, and this may be why:
- Cats were considered sacred animals by the ancient Egyptians.
- In Japan, a symbol of good fortune is the cat Maneki Neko.
- Muhammad had a favorite cat named Muezza.
- In Norse mythology, Freyja (the goddess of love) rides in a chariot drawn by cats.
Also, check out this guy. He loves cats. And he's intense about it.
So turn that frown upside down and enjoy a few of the best lolcats and cat videos!

Phobia of the Day: Ablutophobia – fear of bathing, washing, or cleaning
Fact of the Day: Before writing The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, author J.R.R. Tolkien worked for the Oxford English Dictionary with a focus on the etymology of Germanic words beginning with W.
Viral Video Film School
For those of you who aren't familiar with Viral Video Film School, it's this guy who talks about how to make the perfect youtube video. And it's basically him making fun of people who put dumb stuff on the Internet.
Well Viral Video guy, I salute you. Congrats on making funny videos based off of other people's funny videos.
Here are a few of the best:
Life can be boring. So you need to add a little excitement into it. If you have no excitement, you have this blog at least. So that's one good thing.
The second good thing is that you have a wonderful little website called StumbleUpon. You can be entertained for hours and hours and hours on end. However, StumbleUpon can present you with some boring articles, with lots of words and no fun. So that's where I come in. I weed out the bad websites and present you with the best of the best. Pictures, articles, videos, music, you name it.
So here we go...
A few of my personal favorite youtube videos:
